Cooking pot dayz.
Joined: January 10, 2014. Posted February 2, 2015. Currently,it's quite uncommon for players to cook their food in DayZ. Most of the people resort to eating cold canned or raw fruit and vegetables. While i am aware that the cooking system is far from fleshed out,i believe that it should play a big role in the game.
Time-wise, the fastest way is to boil in two cooking pots on a fireplace in a house. The best way to cook food is inside a cooking pot. Fill it with water, you boil whatever's inside. Then the water is safe to drink. Otherwise you need fat to cook them, just like with a frying pan. Works the same way in a cooking pot.I'd imagine it won't be able to work with the heat source anymore. So if you cook meat in cookware by itself it loses more calories. Which means less for you to eat. You can fill the pot with 2l of water and still add content to it.
